Being a mom

My baby boy Zander James Jensen was born on November 28, 2011. And those 8 lb 3 oz and 21" stole my heart immediately. He is now two months old and the time has flown by! He is getting so big. It's amazing to watch him learn and grow.


I absolutely love being a mom. I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father has trusted me with such a special spirit. I know that he has an amazing life ahead of him and I'm thrilled I get to be his mother and see who he becomes.

My life has become so fulfilled-I've wanted to be a mom for so long, and now I feel like I am fulfilling my life's calling. I have also really come to appreciate my own mom in a way that I couldn't have understood before. Babies are work! It's amazing how willing I am to do the work though, just because I love my baby so much. Even now, it's 3am and I'm up feeding my baby. As tired as I always am, I don't mind these nightly feedings-I actually look forward to them! And nothing is better than waking up on a Sunday morning and just hanging out with my husband and son....something I can only describe as pure joy. I am so thankful for my sweet little family.
